So you dream of getting more muscular and bulk up but you don’t want to gain any fat tissue at the same time? If so then you are attempting to do two things that are exact opposites. Bulking up means that you need to eat a great deal more calories than you use up during the day. The excess calories can then be utilised to support new muscle mass development. At least a few of these calories are going to be stored as body fat. This is why gains in fat levels are normally associated with gains in muscle mass.

It is almost the beginning of a new year and that means the resolutionists will be out in force trying to find motivation to get in shape and lose weight. Why people have to wait until January to begin exercising is rather disconcerting, as any day of the year is a good time to begin a celebrity exercise routine. The key is your motivation. If you are not willing to work on your fitness today then chances are you will not be exercising much past January either.

This is what you need to do to start exercising? Maybe you have never worked out a day in your life. For those starting out, the best option is to find a safe place around your neighborhood and simply walk briskly for 30 minutes a day. You should always strive to keep building the intensity as you progress through your daily workouts. Tackling a hill as you walk, maybe twice a week, to increase the effort. Picking up the pace by jogging a little will help. You should always be striving for improvement. Simply going out and walking the same pace day after day will not work your body well.

Home gyms are increasing in popularity as the equipment technology gets better and the prices get more reasonable. Many home celebrity gyms are relatively inexpensive and the savings you get from having to commute to a local gym might be worth the savings of paying a monthly gym fee. Homew gyms are particularly convenient since you don’t have to wait on other people to use equipment you need nor do you have to deal wioth all the different distractions a full service gym has.

Commerical gyms can cost a lot of money. And many people who sign up never use their membership because it can be a hassle to find time to drive over and work out. Many people join membership gyms at the begining of the year only to quit going after a few months. Going to the gym requires motivation and an obligation to yourself that you will workout. Something that may be better suited from working out at your own home gym.
